STS ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liaison Engineers will be responsible for evaluating aircraft damage and make required mappings. Primary focus will be structural crack and corrosion repair development. Engineers will Review Service Bulletins and A.D.‘s that apply to repair area. Ability to use computers, scanners, digital cameras, and CAD programs and create technical drawings from mappings. Created repairs will then be submitted to the OEM or DER for approval. Once approved engineer will initiate preliminary E.A. and submit to shop floor to start repair procedure.
- Must have the ability to create conformity drawings using Cad, and submit to OEM or DER for final approval including FAA Form 8110-3.
- Engineers must write final Engineering Authorization and submit to the customer for approval.
