Job Requirements:
• Understanding of engineering principles and industry standards for hydraulic systems and the application of electro-hydraulic components.
• Understanding of the principles of hydraulics, mechanics, electronics, physics, and thermodynamics.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics and diagrams
• Experience with: solid modeling programs, Setting up and programming testing.
• Strong communication skills to be able to effectively express design intent and update senior project manager with project status.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer generated reports.
• Confer with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
• Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
• Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
• Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using drafting tools or CAD software.
• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
• Conduct research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components and systems.
• Develop product from concept to production release, including design, documentation, and implementation.
• Provide support to production, service, sales, and marketing and assist with corrective action / ECR processes; troubleshoot field issues to understand and maximize product reliability.
• Perform design, development, system integration, and research tasks involving major product lines to create high value while minimizing cost.
• Collaborate with R&D personnel on a daily basis to assist with prototype builds, testing, and fabrication of components.
