Electrical / Systems DER

FAA DER needed to supply expertise in the Electrical Systems & Equipment fields to support the design, development, flight test and certification of Part 23 & Part 29 Aircraft. Integration of supplier components / systems into aircraft systems.

Coordination with component / system suppliers on designs and design development.

Prepare / review certification documentation, Certification Plans, Design Compliance Reports, etc.

Prepare/review component level and aircraft level test plans and provide analysis of results.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 10+ years experience in Electrical / Avionics systems integration, design and certification.

Knowledge of Part 23 & 29 FAA certification requirements (DER/AR experience required).

Knowledge of Avionics systems certification requirements.

Knowledge of systems safety, reliability, and maintainability.
