Regional Sales Manager

Required Qualifications:

This is a full time Direct Hire Position!!!

 

 

Key part of management team and primary interface with our Customers in a defined territory. Sets strategy for the territory and coordinates all activity at the accounts. Ensures program wins are matching client's capabilities to the opportunities at the accounts and negotiates all pricing agreements. Is the Customers’ advocate within the company to ensure a very intimate bond with our customer base.
 Penetrates our account base at all levels and develops strong relationships for opportunities in a technical sales arena.
·         Works as a team with other Regional Sales Managers to ensure cross-territory programs are covered. 
·         Accepts Department projects as assigned for Sales strategy investigation and direction setting.
·         Develops close ties to Engineering to present Mason capabilities to our Customer base.
·         Remains engaged on booked programs to ensure program issues with the customer are smoothly addressed.
·         Takes on prospecting tasks as necessary to investigate new potentials.
·         Manages and supports the Rep force in the assigned territory to force multiply Mason’s sales abilities.
·         Provides accurate and detailed reporting within the company for projects and opportunities.
·         Ensures compliance to Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Department of State International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Desired Qualifications:
Required Skills
Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
·         Proactive, positive and customer focused attitude.
·         Knowledge of “Office LEAN” practices.
o    Expectation of knowledge of ITAR, contracts, pricing, and operations in a manufacturing environment.
o    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Required Experience
·         BS degree in Engineering or Business.
·         Special consideration for advanced degree.
·         Proven success in Sales/Rep management using strong coaching skills.
·         Minimum of 3 years of success in technical relationship building based on record of accomplishments - preferably in electro-mechanical components for Aerospace and Defense.
·         Proven year-over-year track record of success in Engineering, Program Management or Sales.
·         Demonstrated success in
- building strong customer relationships.
- key accounts penetration at all levels.
·         Outstanding planning and organizational skills.
·         Expected travel to the SOUTH EAST region 35%.
